Volleyball Recap: Northview Academy Cougars vs. Pigeon Forge Tigers        
        
		
             Northview Academy entered their tilt with Pigeon Forge on Tuesday with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Pigeon Forge Tigers with a sharp  3-0 win. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
 Northview Academy never let Pigeon Forge on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 27-25,  25-18.
  Sydney Cole was nothing short of spectacular: she  had 17  digs and three  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted  in  her last nine  games.
 Northview Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 15  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in six consecutive  matchups.
 Northview Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record  this season. As for Pigeon Forge, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
 Northview Academy will take on Austin-East at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Austin-East is coming into the  match with nine straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Northview Academy will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  victory. As for Pigeon Forge, they will venture away from home to  face off against Gatlinburg-Pittman  at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
