Kentwood scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 13-10 to the Mt. Rainier Rams. The loss leaves the Conquerors still looking for their first win of the season.

Joe Francis-Rodrigues was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Sofia Mottern Salinas was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

Kentwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Mt. Rainier, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kentwood will challenge Kentridge at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Conquerors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for Mt. Rainier, they will square off against Stadium at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
