Barrington is 9-1 against Conant since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Fillies/Broncos will challenge the Cougars at 4:45 p.m. Barrington's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Conant's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Barrington is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Lockport on Saturday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Porters.

Hampshire hit Conant with a five-run fifth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cougars came up short against the Whip-Purs, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Whip-Purs: they've now lost six in a row.

Conant's loss dropped their record down to 12-15-1. As for Barrington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-8-1 record this season.

Barrington couldn't quite finish off Conant when the teams last played back in May of 2024 and fell 6-4. Can the Fillies/Broncos avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
