Volleyball Recap: The Prairie School Find Success + How To Watch

It was a Battle of the Birds when The Prairie School faced off against Kenosha Christian Life on Thursday. The Hawks walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

The Prairie School walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 18-25, 25-21, 28-26.

Madelynn Sanchez was the offensive standout of the match as she had 16 digs and five assists. Those five assists gave her a new career-high. Emmaleigh Meier also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

The Prairie School was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They served six more aces than Kenosha Christian Life's also-impressive total of ten.

Kenosha Christian Life's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sophia Pereira, who had 23 digs and two aces, and Emma Rossmann, who had 14 kills and eight digs.

The Prairie School's record now sits at 5-9. As for Kenosha Christian Life, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 9-6 record.

Looking ahead, The Prairie School will face off against St. Catherine's at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they will square off against HRK at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
