Basketball Recap: Inter-Lakes Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against White Mountains, Inter-Lakes was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Newfound Regional Bears by a score of 43-33. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-21 back in January.

Inter-Lakes can attribute much of their success to Riley Anderson, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Emily Doda was another key player, putting up five points and 12 rebounds.

Inter-Lakes smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Inter-Lakes' victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Newfound Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

As of now, neither Inter-Lakes nor Newfound Regional have any future games scheduled.
