Volleyball Game Preview: Jackson Polar Bears vs. Strongsville Mustangs

The Jackson Polar Bears will take on the Strongsville Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jackson is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games.

Jackson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Whitmer by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Strongsville made easy work of St. Joseph Academy on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

While Strongsville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-21.

Strongsville's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.

Jackson was able to grind out a solid win over Strongsville in their previous meeting back in September of 2022, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Polar Bears since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
