Softball Recap: Two Rivers Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Two Rivers won the last time they faced Coon Rapids and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 20-13 victory. The game was the first time the Warriors have beaten the Cardinals on their field since April 29, 2016.

Kaylee Rall was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and three runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dani Shields, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.

Two Rivers' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Coon Rapids, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

As of now, neither Two Rivers nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
