Softball Recap: Forrest County Agricultural Aggies vs. Moss Point Tigers
Forrest County Agricultural was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 9-6 to the Moss Point Tigers. The Aggies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 18-0.

Elizabeth Hoda and Mallory Boyte did some serious damage despite the final result: Hoda scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances, while Boyte scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance gave Hoda a new career-high in stolen bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Presley Parker, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Forrest County Agricultural's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Moss Point, their win bumped their record up to 3-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forrest County Agricultural will welcome Our Lady Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moss Point, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Poplarville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games Poplarville has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
