Softball Recap: Elmore County Panthers vs. Sylacauga Aggies
After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Elmore County brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They won by a run and slipped past the Sylacauga Aggies 10-9. Considering Elmore County's hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Addi Stephenson and Lalah Culpepper were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Stephenson didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, Culpepper pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (she also only allowed one walk).
