Basketball Recap: Puget Sound Adventist Takes a Loss

Puget Sound Adventist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 73-31 loss at the hands of the Loma Linda Academy Roadrunners. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Sharks came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 328th in Washington, while the Roadrunners are ranked 670th in California).

Puget Sound Adventist's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Loma Linda Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Puget Sound Adventist will challenge Crosspoint Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Puget Sound Adventist is facing Crosspoint Christian at the right time seeing as Crosspoint Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Loma Linda Academy has already played their next contest (against Redlands Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
