Baseball Recap: Wesleyan Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Wesleyan Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since April 10, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 12-1 to the Stony Brook Bears. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wesleyan Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Goff, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Goff's first of the season.

Wesleyan Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Stony Brook, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wesleyan Christian Academy will head out to square off against West Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Stony Brook, they will challenge Varsity Opponent on Friday.
