Viewmont had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Roy on Tuesday. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Royals. The Vikings not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 14th (when they won 15-5).

Cal Miller looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Viewmont got a big performance out of Aiden Groves, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. That's the most hits Groves has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Elias Culley, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Viewmont kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.

Viewmont has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Roy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-14.

As of now, neither Viewmont nor the Royals have any future games scheduled.
