Baseball Game Preview: Little Axe Indians vs. Lindsay Leopards

The Little Axe Indians will square off against the Lindsay Leopards at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

Little Axe came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Konawa, falling 9-1. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.

Little Axe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was J.J. Tucker, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Lindsay posted their closest win since March 19, 2024 on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over Kingston.

Lindsay's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Little Axe, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
