Baseball Game Preview: Alliance Aviators vs. John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles

The Alliance Aviators will square off against the John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Alliance had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Perry on Monday. Alliance blew past Perry 17-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Aviators considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Valentino Fisk made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Fisk was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

In other pitching news, Brodee Bugara looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Meanwhile, John F. Kennedy Catholic gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Salem a 3-0 shutout.
