Softball Game Preview: Shelby Whippets vs. Pleasant Spartans

For the second straight game, Shelby will face off against Pleasant. Shelby will be playing at home against Pleasant at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Shelby got the win against Pleasant by a conclusive 13-2. The win continues a trend for the Whippets in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won eight in a row.

Alyssa Booker spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits.

At the plate, Natalie Kennard was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Karlie Walp was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
