Sidney's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Greenville Green Wave as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Sidney won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-23.

Sidney found their leader in freshman Ahniyah Wilson, who had 14 digs and three aces. Marly Coons was another key player, getting 14 assists and three digs.

Sidney is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Greenville, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6.
