Gainesville is 7-2 against Patriot since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Gainesville Cardinals will challenge the Patriot Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Patriot played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Osbourn Park 70-16. The loss continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost five in a row.

Cheyenne Sweeney was Patriot's leading scorer, having posted six points. Sadie Herres held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Patriot's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Gainesville, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Gainesville took their win against Patriot in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 64-40. In that game, Gainesville amassed a halftime lead of 36-13, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
