Volleyball Recap: Xavier Prep Comes Up Short

Xavier Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Indio Rajahs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Xavier Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Indio, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Xavier Prep will take on Banning at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indio, they will challenge Desert Mirage at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
