Basketball Recap: Jamestown Drops Highest Score of Season Against Lighthouse Prep Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jamestown). They took down the Lighthouse Prep Academy Eagles 64-46 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Jamestown as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Despite the defeat, Lighthouse Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Ethan Stammer went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points. Jordan Little was another key player, putting up eight points.

Jamestown's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10. As for Lighthouse Prep Academy, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Jamestown will challenge New Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lighthouse Prep Academy has already played their next matchup (against Chamois), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
