D.C. Everest won the last time they faced Wausau West and things went their way on Tuesday too. The D.C. Everest Evergreens managed a 64-60 win over the Wausau West Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Evergreens.

Wausau West lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kargie Cooper, who went 8 of 11 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Lange, who posted 16 points.

D.C. Everest now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Wausau West, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.

D.C. Everest and Wausau West could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. D.C. Everest (ranked 158th) will meet Eau Claire Memorial (ranked 19th) at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Wausau West (ranked 131st) will meet Wausau East (ranked 16th) at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
