Basketball Recap: Indianola Comes Up Short

Indianola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 60-50 to the Pella Dutch. The Indians lost against the Dutch in their previous head to head back in February of 2025, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 86-52 score last time.

Indianola's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pella, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Indianola will square off against Pella Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pella, they will take on Dallas Center-Grimes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dutch will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
