Recap: Dr. Krop Lightning vs. St. Brendan Sabres
On Wednesday, Dr. Krop had to suffer through a rough 84-43 loss at the hands of St. Brendan. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dr. Krop has scored all season.
Several Lightning players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emmanuel Ferguson, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. Ferguson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Joseph Washington, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Dr. Krop has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for St. Brendan, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.
Dr. Krop won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Carol City at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th. As for St. Brendan, they will take on Atlantic at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
