Baseball Recap: Pine Ridge Triumphs

Pine Ridge's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Mainland Buccaneers. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Kenny Capria was incredible, scoring a run and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Gonzalez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Pine Ridge's record now sits at 10-8-2. As for Mainland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Pine Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-3 win against Tavares on the 14th. As for Mainland, they have also already played their next contest, a 12-1 victory against Orlando Christian Prep on the 11th.
