A feisty cat fight will be fought as Timberlake Tigers challenge Medical Lake Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Timberlake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Timberlake is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over Rogers on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Eric Wylie was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Wylie was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, James Moore was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tanner Van Tassel, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, while it was Medical Lake who put the first points on the board on Thursday, it was Cheney who put up more. Medical Lake fell 11-6 to Cheney.

Timberlake's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Medical Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Timberlake skirted past Medical Lake 5-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will Timberlake repeat their success, or does Medical Lake has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
