Fairfax Christian had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 27-point drubbing they dealt Virginia Episcopal School on Tuesday. The Fairfax Christian Cardinals breezed by the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops to the tune of 71-44. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Fairfax Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Messiah Dixon, who posted eight points along with seven assists and four steals. Dixon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last four games he's played. Jeremiah Stanford was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.

Dixon wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Fairfax Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists.they racked up eight more assists than Virginia Episcopal School's almost as impressive total of 13

Several Bishops players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braden Norris, who went 7 of 9 to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaloyan Kolev, who had six points in addition to eight assists and seven boards.

Fairfax Christian pushed their record up to 18-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.2 points. As for Virginia Episcopal School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Fairfax Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-61 win against Prince George's Christian Academy Blue on the 5th. As for Virginia Episcopal School, they have also already played their next matchup, a 68-61 victory against Roanoke Catholic on the 6th.
