Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Enterprise

Enterprise waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Water Canyon Wildcats 62-44. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-31 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Enterprise to victory, but perhaps none more so than Treyson Whitman, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 16 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The match was Whitman's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Nolan Johnson was another key player, going 7 for 16 en route to 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Enterprise smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 17 consecutive contests.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dynonte Blackmore, who posted 17 points and five boards. That was a full 38.6% of Water Canyon's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Payten Lebaron, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Enterprise pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Water Canyon, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Enterprise has already played their next game, a 67-47 victory against Parowan on the 22nd. As for Water Canyon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 64-18 loss against South Sevier on the 22nd.
