Basketball Recap: Perry Hall Takes a Loss

Perry Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-58 heartbreaker at the hands of New Town. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while New Town are ranked 43rd).

Perry Hall's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for New Town, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Perry Hall will venture away from home to face off against Dulaney at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for New Town, they will square off against Pikesville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
