Amayah Leyva, Buckeye's leader in steals on the season, led the team again on Friday. Leyva did her part (and then some), putting up 23 points and eight steals for the 'W'. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played.

Leyva and Buckeye will head out on the road to square off against Paradise Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hawks got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Trojans, probably because Leyva had a solid game then too: she posted 14 points and three steals.
