Basketball Game Preview: North Central Knights vs. Central Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the North Central Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Central Eagles at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. North Central is looking for their season's first victory.

On Monday, North Central lost to Lugoff-Elgin on the road by a 54-35 margin. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Demons are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Central slipped by Piedmont 59-58 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

North Central better keep an eye on Tazhir Webber. He was instrumental in Central's win, putting up 17 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Crowder, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

Central's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for North Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

North Central didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Central in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 58-53 victory.
