Southwest DeKalb is a perfect 7-0 against Lithonia since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lithonia strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Druid Hills 41-13. The Bulldogs pushed the score to 27-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Red Devils had little chance of recovering from.

Southwest DeKalb's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Lithonia, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Southwest DeKalb strolled past Lithonia when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 37-18. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Bulldogs' Albert Gooding, who picked up 90 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 107 yards.
