Softball Recap: Edison Chargers vs. Vermilion Sailors
Edison lost against Vermilion on April 10th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Edison Chargers fell 11-6 to the Vermilion Sailors. Edison has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Peyton Bissell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Linder, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.
Even though they lost, Edison lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Edison's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Vermilion, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Edison will head out on the road to take on Huron at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Vermilion, they will be playing at home against Margaretta at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
