Baseball Recap: River Falls Falls Short Against Ranked Hudson

River Falls faced Hudson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-1. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

River Falls' loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Hudson, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3.

Looking ahead, River Falls will challenge Wausau East at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hudson, they will square off against Sun Prairie East at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
