Softball Recap: John Hardin Comes Up Short

John Hardin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Central Hardin Bruins, falling 18-2. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bruins from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

John Hardin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenley Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

John Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Central Hardin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, John Hardin is taking a road trip to challenge Caverna at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Hardin, they will face off against Fairview at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
