Springville had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They strolled past the Manti Templars with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 59-40.

Despite the loss, Manti still got an impressive performance from June Olsen, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. What's more, Olsen also posted a 64% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2023.
Manti's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Springville will face off against Cyprus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Manti, they will challenge San Juan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
