Baseball Recap: North Union Takes a Loss

North Union's last matchup with West Hancock could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Warriors lost 19-13 to the Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-5 two weeks ago.

North Union has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for West Hancock, they moved to 6-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

North Union didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-5 victory against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 24th. As for West Hancock, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-4 loss against Lake Mills on the 24th.
