Countryside got themselves on the board against Osceola on Tuesday, but Osceola never followed suit. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors, sneaking past 2-0. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 5-2 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2025.

Beckett Tibbetts looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Countryside secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Brady Olson, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That RBI was Olson's first of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Countryside and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Osceola, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Countryside will square off against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hurricanes have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Osceola, they will take on Dunedin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
