Draughn came out on top against Rosman on Friday thanks in part to Griffin Stephens's efforts. Stephens struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Stephens and Draughn will venture away from home to square off against Avery County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
