Football Recap: Corvallis Comes Up Short at Home Against Polson + How To Watch

Corvallis unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Polson Pirates on Friday, falling 26-6. The matchup was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Blue Devils couldn't quite close it out.

Reese Tucker threw for 78 yards and one TD. Ayden Spencer was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards. On the ground, Kade Bowles rushed for 41 yards.

Polson found their leader in sophomore Case Cox, who threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes. Daniel O'Roake helped Cox out on the ground, rushing for 116 yards.

Coming up, Corvallis will challenge Bigfork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Polson, they will take on Lockwood at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
