Baseball Preview: University Trojans vs. Ellison Eagles
University has gone 8-2 against Ellison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Ellison took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on University, who comes in off a win.
University can't be too worried about heading out to take on Ellison: they just beat Belton at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Trojans came out on top against the Tigers on Thursday by a score of 3-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
Brandon Wiese spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits.
