Eunice is 8-2 against Texico since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cardinals will host the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Eunice's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Texico has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
It was a proper cat-fight when Eunice duked it out with Jal on Saturday. The Cardinals blew past the Panthers 17-1. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Eunice let Jose Calvillo and Tyson Coy run wild. Calvillo got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Coy went 3-for-4 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those six RBI gave Coy a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaac Morales, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Eunice kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.
Loving hit Texico with a five-run sixth inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolverines fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 7-6.
Texico saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Bowman, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
Eunice has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Texico, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Eunice has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .476. However, it's not like Texico struggles in that department as they've averaged .489. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Eunice's way against Texico in their previous matchup last Saturday, as Eunice made off with a 24-5 win. Will the Cardinals repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
