Football Game Preview: Nipmuc Regional Warriors vs. Blackstone-Millville Chargers

Two dominant signal callers in Josh Giancola and Karson Cournoyer are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Nipmuc Regional Warriors will head out to challenge the Blackstone-Millville Chargers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nipmuc Regional is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Nipmuc Regional was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 20-14 to Bay Path RVT.

Meanwhile, Blackstone-Millville and Hoosac Valley squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Blackstone-Millville had to settle for second. They fell 21-12 to the Hurricanes.

Although Blackstone-Millville took the loss, they still got scores from Nathan Oliveira and James Rebhan.

Blackstone-Millville's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Nipmuc Regional, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Nipmuc Regional couldn't quite finish off Blackstone-Millville in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 and fell 24-21. Thankfully for the Warriors, Shaun Haynes (who rushed for 52 yards and three touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
