Softball Recap: Saltillo Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Saltillo can now relate to. They came up short against the Dodd City Hornets on Wednesday, falling 11-5. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Saltillo's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Dodd City, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-14 record.

While Saltillo had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
