Volleyball Recap: Chesterton Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

The Chesterton Trojans beat the Hobart Brickies 2-0 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chesterton took both sets by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-14.

Bryton Oliver paced Chesterton's offense, picking up six kills. Oliver got some help from Declan Ringler and his 15 assists. Ringler was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Chesterton pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hobart, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Chesterton and Hobart will both be playing South Bend Riley the next time they take the court. The Trojans will host the Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Brickies will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
