Football Recap: Washington Generals vs. Riverfield Academy Raiders
While Washington didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against the Riverfield Academy Raiders on Friday as they made off with a 42-22 win. Considering the Generals have won three games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Washington, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Reid Henderson, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
