Volleyball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Comes Up Short

Bradley-Bourbonnais lost against Stagg back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Boilermakers fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Bradley-Bourbonnais sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 16-25, 26-24.

Olivia Woolman paced Bradley-Bourbonnais' offense, picking up 11 kills. Woolman got some help from Harper Tollefson and her 27 assists.

Stagg found their leader in sophomore Elaina Yasin, who had eight digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Yasin.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Stagg, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 16-14.

Looking ahead, Bradley-Bourbonnais will be playing in front of their home fans against Champaign Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stagg, they are taking a road trip to face off against Shepard at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
