Basketball Recap: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Starts Season with Loss at Home

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Ragin Prep Christian Academy Rams 54-10 on Tuesday. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 68-22 to the Rams when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ragin Prep Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Robert Kelley Jr, who posted 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kelley Jr has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Nasir Frank, who earned 11 points.

Ragin Prep Christian Academy now has a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Ragin Prep Christian Academy will head out to challenge Andrew Jackson Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic will be paying especially close attention to the Rams' game: after the Rams face off against Ridge Christian Academy, they'll take on St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic again at 6:00 p.m. on January 23, 2026.
