Basketball Game Preview: Herlong Vikings vs. Chester Volcanoes

The Herlong Vikings will challenge the Chester Volcanoes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Herlong will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Tuesday, Herlong had to suffer through a 57-18 loss at the hands of Paradise Adventist Academy. The matchup marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Chester played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 52-32 to Biggs. The Volcanoes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.

Chester now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Herlong, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Herlong was dealt a bruising 86-17 defeat at the hands of Chester when the teams last played back in December of 2015. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Herlong was down 57-10.
