Basketball Game Preview: West Hills Wolf Pack vs. St. Joseph Academy Crusaders

Having just played yesterday, the West Hills Wolf Pack will jump right back in to play the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. West Hills has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 187 points over their last three matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, West Hills turned things around against Mission Vista on Thursday. They walked away with a 70-61 victory over Mission Vista.

West Hills found their leader in freshman Malekai Dillon, who went 8 of 12 en route to 21 points and eight rebounds. The game was Dillon's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Toups, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points and five boards.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph Academy strolled past Morse with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 51-37.

St. Joseph Academy's win came from a few key players West Hills will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Luke Sutherlin, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justice Ahiafor, who had 16 points.

St. Joseph Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for West Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. West Hills hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 61.3 points per game. However, it's not like St. Joseph Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 60.2 points.
