Ava Alvarez Game Report: vs Doral Academy

Passers beware: Ava Alvarez came down with her first-ever interception on Wednesday and she's no doubt on the hunt for more. She also rushed for 45 yards, and also threw for 42 yards and one touchdown, helping propel Palmetto past Doral Academy by a score of 18-6. Coming up, Alvarez and Palmetto will be playing at home against Stoneman Douglas at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Alvarez will face off against Samantha Calavetta, the Eagles' star signal caller.
