Basketball Recap: Pendleton County Find Success

Pendleton County won the last time they faced Nicholas County and things went their way on Friday too. The Pendleton County Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 win over the Nicholas County Bluejackets.

Pendleton County's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Nicholas County, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-6.

Pendleton County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 89-52 win against Bracken County on the 18th. As for Nicholas County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-71 victory against Menifee County on the 21st.
